The Comprehensive Centers
(CCs) consist of sixteen (16) Regional and five (5) Content Centers
funded by the U.S. Department of Education to help build the capacity
of states across the nation to effectively implement the provisions and
goals of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). The following is
a listing
of the Centers with links to their Web sites.

The Alaska Comprehensive Center (ACC) serves the state of Alaska.

The Appalachia Region Comprehensive Center (ARCC) serves the states of
Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The California Comprehensive Center serves the state of California.

The Florida and Islands Comprehensive Center serves the state of Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

The Great Lakes East Comprehensive Center (GLECC) serves the states of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio

The Great Lakes West Region Comprehensive Center serves the states of Illinois and Wisconsin.

The Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center (MACC) serves the states of
Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and the District of
Columbia.

The Mid-Continent Comprehensive Center (MC3) serves the states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

The New England Comprehensive Center (NECC) serves the states of
Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and
Vermont.

The New York Comprehensive Center (NYCC) serves the state of New York.

The North Central Comprehensive Center (NCCC) serves the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

The Northwest Regional Comprehensive Center (NWRCC) serves the states of Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.

The Pacific Comprehensive Center (PC) serves the state of Hawaii, and
American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated
States of Micronesia (Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap), Guam, Republic
of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.

The Southeast Comprehensive Center serves the states of Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina.

The Texas Comprehensive Center serves the state of Texas.

The Southwest Comprehensive Center serves the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

The Assessment and Accountability Comprehensive Center is housed at WestEd in San Francisco, California.

The National High School Center is housed at the American Institutes for Research in Washington, DC.

The Center on Innovation and Improvement is housed at the Academic Development Institute in Lincoln, Illinois.

The Center on Instruction is housed at the RMC Research Corporation in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

The National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality is housed at Learning Points Associates (LPA) in Naperville, Illinois.
